4WD Radflo Shock System
While this shock kit is not cheap at $3395.00, all five of our prototype sets out in “testing mode” for the last 12 months have yielded outstanding feedback with ZERO ISSUES !
The front features:
* State-of-the-art velocity-sensitive valving
* A massive 7/8” (22mm) shaft (Fox uses a 16mm shaft, so their bearing block is too small. This is why the seals blow out all the time on Fox shocks. Their shocks can’t handle the side load of the spring during its compression cycle.)
* Heavy duty hydraulic-6 (3/8” ID) remote reservoir hose
* 22 settings of external compression dampening adjustment.
The threaded 2” shock body offers spring tension adjustment to help dial in the spring tension for individualized ride height, as well as firmness.
The shocks have been valved specifically to work with Schwenk springs. Schwenk springs feature much more technologically advanced engineering using state-of-the-art materials, as well as providing the perfect amount of tension giving customers a smooth, predictable delivery. Our testing has found that the other brands of springs on the market have a harsher ride and then soon sag after a short time.
The rear features:
* State-of-the-art velocity-sensitive valving
* A 24” long piggyback reservoir, plumbed with hard fittings, no hose (Fox uses a 25” long reservoir. In our opinion, this is a little too long. This is a common reason for quickly tearing up CV boots and joints on a 4WD Syncro).
* 22 settings of external compression valving adjustment.
Our Radflo shocks are also specifically valved to go with the high-quality front and rear Schwenk springs – sold separately.
