Keep your rig cool! We love these radiators! They are a perfect replica of the coveted, but no longer made, SA radiators.
This highly efficient radiator features a nice heavy-duty, 50mm thick aluminum core, a 13mm hex head brass bleeder screw that won’t break off, along with a threaded brass insert to fit the screw securely and assure a good seal. In addition, this radiator has a threaded brass insert for the cooling fan temperature sensor.
Since the South African radiators are no longer available and the available Nissens, Behr and others are not that great, we went in search of a high-quality replacement and had these radiators made for us. We have found them to be an excellent choice!Â

Excellent Radiator I bought a South African Vanagon radiator from Go Westy long ago and never installed it. I've been saving it for my 86 Syncro Westy but haven't needed it. Recently, I started restoring an 84 Westy. It needed a new radiator so I pulled the SA radiator off of the shelf it has lived on for years and installed it. I got to thinking that I should have a spare for my Syncro, so I began looking. I bought a Behr/Mahle radiator from AutohauseAZ thinking that I would receive the same thing I just installed on the 84. Uh,..... not so. The Behr/Mahle was a cheap Chinese knock-off. I returned it. A Nissans radiator was available but I was looking for another option. I bought the SA clone. Identical to the old stock SA radiator I just installed in the 84 project! Very nice! I am very happy with the quality.

Nice Radiator! After searching around for a good radiator, I thought I had found the quality standard and bought a Behr unit from someone else. The box was open for 10 minutes before it got sealed up and sent back. Behr is now shipping Chinese made junk with round tubes sealed into the end bells with a zillion o-rings, and pressed on fins. The upper and lower rails are only staked to the fins! Then I found the Burley unit, and the website pictures looked good so I ordered that one. It showed up the next day at 10:00 AM! These guys don't fool around. It's a thing of beauty compared to the behr. The correctly shaped tubes are brazed to the end plates, the fins are brazed to the tubes and brass inserts in the clinched plastic end caps. My ancient Syncro can now creep up long steep stuff in 100F heat again. The low speed fan cycles and keeps my OBDII temp signal from the 1.8T engine below 95c. This may be the only good radiator source left!

So glad you are selling all kinds of stuff now. Burley's radiator works well. I use my van to travel all over central America. I need something I can depend on. So far this radiator has lasted through some serious high heat situations, steep hills and hot sun! I would recommend it to everyone who travels around in extremely warm weather. Peace!
